My Bio

Thanks for coming to my page.

I'm a professional photographer and digital artist and over the years have built an extensive stock and art reference file. Although many images are available on DA are free of charge, I have decided to offer my art reference images at a very small, reasonable price.

Why?

  1. This is my profession, not a hobby. I enjoy creating reference photos of models which I use in my own photography and art. Since I only use a small fraction of my own photos, I would rather have other artists use them instead of just "gathering dust" on my hard drive.

  2. Popular photos on DA are downloaded hundreds, even thousands of times - like clip art. As beautiful as many of the images are the more popular ones can be found in an endless number of artists portfolios. By comparison, my images on average are downloaded a few dozen times. This means much greater exclusivity for you, and new artwork that does not look like everyone else's.

  3. Professional documentation and licensing. Proper model releases and copyright licenses are extremely important to visual artists. Every image I post online has a copyright license and available model release.

  4. It's affordable. While typical photo agencies charge MUCH higher fees and have very limited licensing, you will find use of my art reference photos to be far less expensive and restrictive.

  5. Free 3d renders - In addition to my photographs of models that I license at very reasonable fees, I also have posted hundreds of 3d renders or people, objects and backgrounds. Unlike the photos which have minimal restrictions (no adult content, etc) the 3d renders can be treated like clip art or art reference with no restrictions. I just ask that you don't claim copyright to the original image or resell it. Naturally if you use it in your own art, you can sell and claim copyright to your new artwork.

I hope you find my art reference photos useful. If you have any questions drop me a line!

Regards, Len
